When did you start at KQ?

Favorite concert memory:
Tough question! The Stones at TCF Bank Stadium. My sisters flew in from around the country for the show. We geared up with Stones shirts and I even made the 5pm news on the Number 5 with the title “Rolling Stones Fan.” It poured rain all day and then when the Stones hit the stage, the clouds parted and we rocked all night long. Also, Seger/Kid Rock with Terri, Wally, Zepp and Ray.  It’s the first time we all went to a show together. It was a great time!

Random celebrity moment:
I was Ozzy Osbourne’s cocktail waitress in Omaha, Nebraska during his Diary of A Madman Tour. He was super sweet and polite and tipped me 10 pair of tickets to his show.

Favorite watering hole past and present:
Currently I love the Prohibition Bar at the Foshay. I used to love this dive bar in Isanti called the Sunrise. It’s not there any more, changed name and vibe, but I have a lot of fun memories from there.

Favorite behind-the-scenes KQ moment?
I moved to MPLS from Florida and my first weekend here there was a kegger party at our old Golden Valley location. Tom bought the food and we all brought the party. After years on the west coast and in Florida, it was fun to be at a good ol’ midwestern kegger.

Got any hobbies?
I read a ton of non-fiction. I love artists autobiographies in addition to anything space, science and social science related. I am a fun-seeker and I stay busy trying new things. I love to ski, snowmobile, hike, boat, work out, road trip, travel, hang with with friends and family and plan fun things to do.

Is there something you feel strongly about? How have you helped give back to the community?
I feel strongly that if someone is doing a fundraiser, we all can help by giving even a few dollars. Since I rarely say no and donate often, I make a small donation. I believe it all adds up. I spent 7 years helping a lovely senior named Myrtle go shopping weekly, I have been involved with Chihuahua Rescue, I spent 11 years hosting and marketing for a polar plunge type event. I love to help out with the Long Lake Vintage Snowmobile Races too.
