Either you think Owen Wilson is likeable or punchable. Doesn’t seem to be any in-between there. But he appears to have a tick. His go to word in his movies is “WOW!”
Probably just an acting crutch. Just like Brad Pitt’s need to always be eating in his movies in order to make up for his acting. Or how Matthew McConaughey makes strange noises in all of his movies.

We’ve pointed out before that Brad Pitt cannot film a movie without constantly eating throughout.
It’s perfectly acceptable to like him and his movies, but the formula for his “acting skills” has been cracked. It does in fact include eating/drinking in most scenes, and also using an accent that does not even exist
This morning, JB pointed out that Brad Pitt eats in nearly every scene of Ocean’s Eleven. It was further speculated that he covers up his terrible acting by needing to eat in every movie he does.
