Join KQRS for our 2nd Annual Rock The Pantry Food Drive at New Bohemia in Golden Valley on Monday, November 13th from 5-7pm!
Bring a bag of non-perishable groceries or other necessities that will be donated to PRISM, and you’ll receive a free beer or regular size fries.
PLUS, all attendees will be entered to win more than a dozen great prizes from tickets to the MN Wild Grateful Dead Night on Nov. 28, to Iron Maiden tix, to Eagles suite tickets! (No donation required)
Items In Need:
- Non-perishable food (must not be expired)
- Cleaning supplies
- Diapers and baby wipes
- Personal hygiene items (must be unopened)
- Paper bags
- Anything ‘you’ would consider a necessity
About PRISM:
- PRISM is a strong, sustainable organization supporting the northwest Twin Cities suburbs’ basic needs.
- PRISM offers ‘dignity-centered’ resources, allowing recipients to physically shop in their food marketplace and thrift shop as if they were in any other store, but free of charge
- The PRISM Marketplace assists nearly 3000 people each month from all across the northern suburbs
- They also offer case management services that connect recipients to long-term programs and support systems to get them back on their feet
- They help families shop for gifts, decorations and supplies to celebrate birthdays, holidays and back to school so the kids don’t carry the burden
- 1 in 9 Minnesotans worry about where their next meal will come from, donations directly help your neighbors & friends that may be struggling
