I enlisted in 1999 as an Infantryman and completed basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia in December of 2000. After basic training, I was assigned to 1-36 Infantry 1st Armored Division out of Friedburg, Germany. My Infantry was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq on May 3
I then re-enlisted and was assigned to 1-24 Infantry 25th Division. On October 4th, we were deployed to Mosul. Following that deployment, I chose to end my time in the service and left the United States Army as a sergeant.
