Roger Waters, Van Morrison, The Band

Hope you’re enjoying KQ’s Rock N Roll 500 Countdown of the greatest classic rock songs of all time.

Here we have Roger Waters performing in 1990 at The World Memorial Fund for Disaster Relief.

Waters is joined on stage with The Band, and receives brilliant guest lead vocals from Van Morrison.

Certainly one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Superb live version of a classic song. Martin Scorsese loved this version so much he used it in The Departed.

Make sure you check back for another great live/rare version of tracks on the countdown
