The Rolling Stones – “Who You Callin’ Crazy”
Mick Jagger recently shared that the Stones are heading back into the studio, after just releasing their 25th album, Foreign Tongues. Why are they so ready to get back to work? According to Jagger, they’ve got a lot of music to create and not much time left to do it. With that specter hanging over them, it makes more sense that just months after the release of Foreign Tongues, they already have a deluxe extended version, Loose Lips, coming out in November. Teasing out the updated version with a new song, “Who You Callin’ Crazy,” an upbeat, horn heavy rocker.

Teenage Fanclub – Do Not Dare To Dream
Scottish band, Teenage Fanclub, headed out to a remote island to record their 14th album, Do Not Dare to Dream, which continues the group’s remarkable late-career run, built on warm harmonies, jangling guitars, and songs that find profound meaning in everyday moments. There’s synth and church organ, some mystical storytelling, songs about being lost and trying to get found. Through it all is a band confident in what they’ve been doing consistently since the early 90s.
