THE BLACK CROWES – amorica. DELUXE EDITION
Gorman In the Morning host, Steve Gorman, might be on tour with his new band (Howl Owl Howl) but his old band, The Black Crowes, are reissuing their most adventurous record. Amorica was the band’s gritty, groove-heavy pivot in ’94, and this deluxe edition digs deep: alternate mixes, studio jams, and live cuts that show the Crowes at their sleaziest and most soulful.

CHEAP TRICK – ALL WASHED UP
Five decades in and Cheap Trick is still rocking. Their consistent power-pop sound still packs a punch with their 21st album, All Washed Up. They don’t mind mocking themselves (if that album title didn’t clue you in), but even with some self-deprecation, this is a riff heavy and harmony filled rocker. If their live show didn’t prove it, this album goes the distance to prove they are very much not washed up.

THE ROLLING STONES – BLACK AND BLUE (SUPER DELUXE)
Often dismissed as a transitional album, Black and Blue now feels like the Stones at their most experimental. They are dabbling in funk, reggae, and soul between guitar-heavy jams. When an interviewer once compared The Stones to The Beatles, Keith Richards told him, they might know how to rock, but they don’t know how to roll. Black and Blue is a sexy, loose album that definitely rolls. This expanded box set adds studio outtakes and live versions that make the case for its underrated status.
