FACES – OOH LA LA
Ooh La La from Faces is a high watermark moment for a band that was at odds. Rod Stewart was a hit as a solo artist and the rest of the band was sick of being seen as the “backing band.” Despite Stewart doing his best to kill the album in the press, it went to number one. Now, the band is back on friendly terms and talking about hitting the studio for a new album and with that is a reissue of their final album together. The LP is pulled from the original analog master tapes and only 5000 copies are being released.

PRETENDERS – LIVE: KICK ‘EM WHERE IT HURTS!
Chrissie Hynde is a powerhouse and in a live setting that energy radiates. The band pressed that propulsive force from their tour last year onto a double disc LP with, Live: Kick ‘Em Where It Hurts! The band has always straddled the line of punk swagger and sweet, tight musicianship and this shows off those decades of building comfort in the studio and on stage together.
