GENESIS – LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY: 50TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION
The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway didn’t just help define the concept album, it also tore Genesis apart. The album now gets it’s 50th Anniversary Edition release. It’ll feature three previously unreleased demos, a 60-page book featuring new interviews and thoughts from all five band members, and new mixes of the original album.

IVY – “SAY YOU WILL”
The dream soundscape of Ivy is back. The band bring the “lost” album (Traces of You)to light for their first album in 14 years, with the late Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) featured on every track. The New York band formed in 1994, but called it quits in 2012. Apparently, the reel-to-reel recordings were sitting in their Rhode Island studio, and after listening and debating, they decided to finish the demo into a polished album and release them, which will happen on September 5. Until the album comes out, enjoy “Say You Will.”

THE SMASHING PUMPKINS – LIVE IN EUROPE ’92
If you are a rarities fan or completionist and a big Smashing Pumpkins fan, have I got something sweet for you. Billy Corgan recently released a limited-edition Smashing Pumpkins box set through his Madame Zuzu’s tea shop. Here’s the rub: there’s only 1k copies. It’s a collectors dream with more than 90 songs over 13 LPs full of photos of the band in 1992 on tour through Europe.

NEIL YOUNG AND THE CHROME HEARTS – TALKIN TO THE TREES
Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts will be in Minnesota on September 20th for the 40th anniversary of Farm Aid, and they just put out a new album, Talkin the to Trees. On his 46th album, Young and his new band rage against the machine. It’s protest songs that rally against the trials of living in 2025. It’s an album that feels immediate, angry, and definitely not shying away from politics.
