David Lee Roth continues to crank out songs, and for the second time in two months, he’s put out a cover.

Following his take in May on LL Cool J‘s 1988 song “Going Back to Cali,” Roth has dialed it back to 1981 for a version of Tommy Tutone‘s “867-5309/Jenny.”

Called “Jenny Jenny (That Telephone Song)…,” his is more acoustic-based, complete with a harmonica solo. He also released a video featuring an array of Styrofoam heads floating in space.

Tommy Tutone released “867-5309/Jenny” in November 1981, and it peaked at number-four on the Billboard Hot 100.
