About Danielwritten by his wife, Monize Siqueira

Daniel served in the Army for more than 10 years and had three deployments in Iraq, South Korea and UEA. He reached the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 2019. We met when we both were working in Abu Dhabi in 2016 and we had such a powerful connection that even after I was transferred to Germany, we managed to see each other and spend some time together. Every minute was like a gift.

Things were not easy for us, considering distance and all the cultural differences (I’m from Brazil), but Dan was always kind, understanding and supportive of all decisions we had to made. He is a great father to Bryce and I’m sure that I couldn’t have a better husband. I normally say to whoever asks me that Daniel saved my life, he gave me hope when I needed the most and that’s just who he is.

Dan lives his truth and I’m extremely proud of him for all the challenges he had overcome.

He has always talked about his love for classic rock, and how music can bring someone to life. Just don’t ask him to sing anything… that is definitely not one of his many talents.

He is an extremely hard-working person and he is currently working on our family’s farm helping with the harvest while I have my job as an engineer in Atlanta/GA. I miss him every day but I know he will always be there for me.
