At the end of Take 18, Ringo three his drum sticks and declared \”I\’ve got blisters on my fingers!\”

Take 18 ended up on The Beatles (\”White Album\”).

SEPTEMBER 9, 1971: JOHN LENNON\’S IMAGINE
Paul McCartney is the only former Beatle to not appear on the classic album.

The very personal album contains the vitriolic \”How Do You Sleep\”, about Paul dissolving the Lennon/McCartney partnership.

Kurt Cobain was trying to write the ultimate pop song, and revolutionized music with a song completely unlike the pop music dominating the charts at the time.
