September 25th is KQRS’ 50th Anniversary Celebration Day!

September 25th is KQRS’ 50th Anniversary Celebration Day!

KQRS has been on the air for 50 years and it’s all thanks to YOU!

Tuesday, September 25 will be Celebration Day! We have a full day of surprises we think you’re going to love!

In-studio guests will include former legacy jocks such as Alan Stone, Jack Hicks, Mei Young, Dave Dworkin and many more, including Wally Walker discussing his 39 years on the air with KQRS.

The festivities will kick off with the KQ Morning Show and run until midnight! The KQ Morning Show will have special guests and beloved classic segments & audio that have become a part of the Twin Cities lexicon.

We’ll also have an hour-long playlist which will include nothing but songs from the year we started out, 1968!

This is all possible because of you! Thank you so much for 50 wonderful years on the air!

Make sure you check out our 50th Anniversary: Online Museum at KQRS50.com!
