Andrew's Bio:

Andrew Giemza retired in 2009 after serving all 20 years overseas. Throughout the years he was stationed in Germany, Korea, Guam, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and finally Australia with several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Andrew and his fellow troops were instrumental in the set-up of postal operations during Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Vigilant Warrior and finally the Global War on Terrorism. Before cell phones and internet, Andrew got that important mail to and from loved ones serving our country.

Andrew’s wife Stacy writes, “This isn’t a group that sees a lot of recognition, but from a wife that knows how important that letter is, these troops played a very pivotal role for all loved ones affected.”

Since leaving the Air Force and living here in Minnesota, Andrew has a fondness for classic rock and found KQRS right away. He loves this country, he loved his time served and he loves music.
